Regrettably, we exclusively offers stays that run from Monday to Monday. This setup ensures that all guests arrive and depart on the same day, which helps to create a distinct sense of camaraderie. You only have to make introductions once, allowing for deeper connections, and by the week’s end, it feels like everyone has become a close-knit group.
Unfortunately, our Surf and Yoga retreats are scheduled from monday to monday only, and we don’t provide options for shorter stays. This setup means that all guests begin and end their stay on the same day, fostering a cohesive atmosphere.
Yes, the shared rooms are mixed. We can’t promise accommodation separated by gender, unless you book a private room. But we will do our best to achieve it.
To get the most accurate answer, please contact us directly at totembalangan@gmail.com. Depending on upcoming bookings and availability, we will be able to provide you with more information.
We understand that sharing a room and bathroom with someone you don’t know can be challenging. Therefore, we offer an alternative: you can choose to book a private room to ensure your privacy. However, please note that opting for a private room will affect the final price of your stay. During the booking process, be sure to select the “private room” option.
The activities are designed for your enjoyment, so if you choose to miss some, that’s completely okay!
Yes, English will be the official language of your stay, as our partners may not speak your native language.
If your English isn’t perfect, don’t worry—surfing and yoga are primarily taught through body language! However, knowing some basic vocabulary will be helpful.
Unfortunately, no, the kitchen is reserved for our staff to prepare breakfast and lunch for you. However, the area is full of great restaurants to explore in the evenings, so it would be a shame not to take advantage of them!
Not at all; our breakfasts and lunches include vegetarian options.
You should let us know the day and time that works best for you, taking into account our partner’s schedule and avoiding yoga and surf class times. Upon your arrival, our staff will discuss your availability and preferences to arrange for the massage therapist’s visit.
Of course, all levels are welcome. Our surf partner also provides support tailored to your skill level, whether you’re a beginner or intermediate.
Absolutely, our certified yoga instructors can accommodate all levels and provide appropriate adjustments based on your level of practice.
We start our Surf and Yoga retreats with a minimum of 5 participants and can accommodate up to 10. If there are fewer than 5 participants, we unfortunately have to cancel due to insufficient numbers.
No, the daily schedule on our site is for reference only. Depending on tide times, surfing may be scheduled for either the morning or afternoon. If surfing is planned for the afternoon, the yoga class will take place in the morning.
We accept teenagers from the age of 15, provided they are accompanied by their parents.
Of course, you can leave it in our storage.
Due to the high medical costs in Indonesia, we strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance for your stay. Additionally, minor surf injuries are not uncommon, so it’s better to be prepared than to face unexpected issues.
It’s important to note that wave conditions and sizes shift daily due to factors like swell, wind, and weather. While we can’t guarantee specific wave characteristics, we do promise to take you to the spot that seems most enjoyable each day. Please note that it’s incredibly uncommon for conditions to stop us from surfing in South Bali (but it can happen sometimes). If we ever face that situation, we’ll do our best to make up for it with an extra surf session the following day so you don’t miss out.
If you’re afraid of snakes and spiders, it’s important to know that Bali, like many tropical regions, is home to a variety of wildlife, including snakes and spiders. However, these animals are rarely encountered in tourist areas or well-maintained properties. While it’s still possible to come across them occasionally, our staff takes measures to minimize such encounters and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all guests.
Everything you need for your yoga practice will be provided: mats, bolsters, blocks, and straps. No need to bring your own mat unless you prefer to 🙂
The best time to visit Bali is generally during the dry season, which runs from April to October. This period is characterized by sunny weather, relatively low humidity, and pleasant temperatures around 30°C. The peak months, July and August, attract the most tourists, while the shoulder seasons from April to June and September to October offer a more tranquil experience with fewer crowds. The rainy season, from November to March, has similar temperatures but higher humidity and frequent rainfall, though it has the advantage of being less crowded.
Yes, it is possible, for an additional fee directly to our partner surf school. We are not responsible for the receipt of your videos, only for the on-screen analysis of your session.
If you would like your surfing session to be filmed with a drone, please let us know in advance, and we will arrange for a drone pilot. The video files will be charged as an additional cost of XXX IDR.
